The government has recently approved the 7th pay commission which will benefit more than 1 crore government employees and pensioners. With a 23% salary hike of 50 lakh central government employees, car makers like Maruti are expecting an increase in car sales. The company has sold 15 Lakh vehicles under its special programme for government employees. Hyundai and Honda also think the same as maruti and expecting increase in the car sales in the market.
