Fiat Punto to be replaced by X6H , not the Tipo

The X6H 

The next generation Punto has been cancelled for production. Everyone was thinking the Tipo will replace the Punto, but thats not the truth. The real replacement for the Fiat Punto is the new model under development (Codenamed the Fiat X6H). This model will be priced below the Tipo and might be renamed the Super Palio.
The X6H will be based on the Fiat 326 platform , which will also be the base for the next generation Fiat Linea (Codenamed Fiat X6S). Both the Super Palio hatch (X6H)  and Linea (X6S) will be positioned and priced below the Tipo hatch and the Egea (Tipo Sedan)

Possible Linea replacement 

Internationally the new 1.3 petrol engine with 100 Bhp and the 1.8 E torQ will be offered with choice of 5 or 6 speed transmissions.
Hope Fiat replaces its ageing cars soon.
